بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ١
سَبِّحِ اسۡمَ رَبِّكَ الۡاَعۡلَىۙ ١
87:1 Pronounce the purity of the name of your most exalted Lord,
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ٢
الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰى ۙ ٢
87:2 who created (everything), then made (it) well,
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ ٣
وَالَّذِىۡ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰى ۙ ٣
87:3 and who determined a measure (for everything), then guided (it),
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ ٤
وَالَّذِىۡۤ اَخۡرَجَ الۡمَرۡعٰى ۙ ٤
87:4 and who brought forth pasturage,
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ ٥
فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَآءً اَحۡوٰىؕ ٥
87:5 then turned it into a blackening stubble.
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ ٦
سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنۡسٰٓىۙ ٦
87:6 We will make you recite, then you will not forget
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ ٧
اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُؕ اِنَّهٗ يَعۡلَمُ الۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفٰىؕ ٧
87:7 except that which Allah wills. Indeed He knows what is manifest and what is hidden.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ ٨
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرٰى ۖۚ ٨
87:8 And We will facilitate for you (to reach) the easiest way.
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ ٩
فَذَكِّرۡ اِنۡ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكۡرٰىؕ ٩
87:9 So, extend advice (to people) if advice is useful.
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ ١٠
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنۡ يَّخۡشٰىۙ ١٠
87:10 The one who fears (Allah) will observe the advice,
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى ١١
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الۡاَشۡقَىۙ ١١
87:11 and it will be avoided by the most wretched one
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ١٢
الَّذِىۡ يَصۡلَى النَّارَ الۡكُبۡرٰىۚ ١٢
87:12 who will enter the Biggest Fire,
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ ١٣
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوۡتُ فِيۡهَا وَلَا يَحۡيٰىؕ ١٣
87:13 then he will neither die therein, nor live (a desirable life).
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ ١٤
قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ تَزَكّٰىۙ ١٤
87:14 Success is surely achieved by him who purifies himself,
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ ١٥
وَذَكَرَ اسۡمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰى ؕ ١٥
87:15 and pronounces the name of his Lord, then offers prayer.
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ١٦
بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا ۖ ١٦
87:16 But you prefer the worldly life,
وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ١٧
وَالۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ وَّ اَبۡقٰىؕ ١٧
87:17 while the Hereafter is much better and much more durable.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ١٨
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِى الصُّحُفِ الۡاُوۡلٰىۙ ١٨
87:18 Indeed this is (written) in the earlier divine scripts,
صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ ١٩
صُحُفِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰى ١٩
87:19 the scripts of Ibrāhīm and Mūsā.
