بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ١
اَلۡقَارِعَةُ ۙ ١
101:1 The Striking Event!
مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٢
مَا الۡقَارِعَةُ ۚ ٢
101:2 What is the Striking Event?
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٣
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا الۡقَارِعَةُ ؕ ٣
101:3 And what may let you know what the Striking Event is?
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ ٤
يَوۡمَ يَكُوۡنُ النَّاسُ كَالۡفَرَاشِ الۡمَبۡثُوۡثِۙ ٤
101:4 (It will happen) on a day when people will be like scattered moths,
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ ٥
وَتَكُوۡنُ الۡجِبَالُ كَالۡعِهۡنِ الۡمَنۡفُوۡشِؕ ٥
101:5 and the mountains will be like carded wool.
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٦
فَاَمَّا مَنۡ ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَازِيۡنُهٗ ۙ ٦
101:6 Then, as for him whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy,
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ٧
فَهُوَ فِىۡ عِيۡشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ؕ ٧
101:7 he will be in a happy life.
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٨
وَاَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَازِيۡنُهٗ ۙ ٨
101:8 But he whose scales are light,
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ ٩
فَاُمُّهٗ هَاوِيَةٌ ؕ ٩
101:9 -his abode will be Abyss.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ ١٠
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا هِيَهۡ ؕ ١٠
101:10 And what may let you know what that (Abyss) is?
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ ١١
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ ١١
101:11 A blazing Fire!
