Mercy and forgiveness

وَٱكْتُبْ لَنَا فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ عَذَابِىٓ أُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَنْ أَشَآءُ ۖ وَرَحْمَتِى وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۚ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۝١٥٦

7:156 And write for us good in this world and in the Hereafter. We turn to You in repentance.” He (Allah) said, “As for My punishment, I afflict with it whom I will. And My mercy extends to everything. So, I shall write it for those who guard themselves against evil, and pay Zakāh, and those who do believe in Our verses,

اور لکھ دے ہمارےلئے اس دنیا میں بھلائی اور آخرت میں ہم نے رجوع کیا تیری طرف فرمایا میرا عذاب ڈالتا ہوں میں اسکو جس پر چاہوں اور میری رحمت شامل ہے ہر چیز کو سو اس کو لکھ دوں گا ان کے لئے جو ڈر رکھتے ہیں اور دیتے ہیں زکوٰۃ اور جو ہماری باتوں پر یقین رکھتے ہیں 7:156

7:156 And ordain for us in this world that which is good, and in the Hereafter (that which is good), Lo! We have turned unto Thee. He said: I smite with My punishment whom I will, and My mercy embraceth all things, therefore I shall ordain it for those who ward off (evil) and pay the poor-due, and those who believe Our revelations;

وَإِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُۥ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوٓءًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ۝٥٤

6:54 When those who believe in Our verses come to you, say to them, “Peace on you. Your Lord has prescribed for Himself mercy, so that if any one of you does an evil deed out of ignorance and thereafter repents and mends his ways, then (you will see that) He is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.

اور جب آویں تیرے پاس ہماری آیتوں کے ماننے والے تو کہہ دے تو سلام ہے تم پر لکھ لیا ہے تمہارے رب نے اپنے اوپر رحمت کو کہ جو کوئی کرے تم میں سے برائی ناواقفیت سے پھر اس کے بعد توبہ کر لے اور نیک ہو جائے تو بات یہ ہےکہ وہ ہے بخشنے والا مہربان 6:54

6:54 And when those who believe in Our revelations come unto thee, say: Peace be unto you! Your Lord hath prescribed for Himself mercy, that whoso of you doeth evil through ignorance and repenteth afterward thereof and doeth right, (for him) lo! He is Forgiving, Merciful.

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ ۝١٠٧

21:107 And We have not sent you but as mercy for all the worlds.

اور تجھ کو جو ہم نے بھیجا سو مہربانی کر کر جہاں کے لوگوں پر 21:107

21:107 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples.

وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْفَضْلِ مِنكُمْ وَٱلسَّعَةِ أَن يُؤْتُوٓا۟ أُو۟لِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينَ وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَلْيَعْفُوا۟ وَلْيَصْفَحُوٓا۟ ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ۝٢٢

24:22 The men of grace and wealth among you should not swear against giving (their charitable gifts) to the kinsmen and the poor and to those who have migrated in the way of Allah, and they should forgive and forego. Do you not like that Allah forgives you? Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.

اور قسم نہ کھائیں بڑے درجہ والے تم میں سے اور کشائش والے اس پر کہ دیں قرابتیوں کو اور محتاجوں کو اور وطن چھوڑنے والوں کو اللہ کی راہ میں اور چاہئے کہ معاف کریں اور درگزر کریں کیا تم نہیں چاہتے کہ اللہ تم کو معاف کرے اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے 24:22

24:22 And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear not to give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for the cause of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِى ٱلسَّرَّآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَٱلْكَٰظِمِينَ ٱلْغَيْظَ وَٱلْعَافِينَ عَنِ ٱلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ۝١٣٤

3:134 -the ones who spend (for Allah’s sake) in prosperity and adversity, and those who control anger and forgive people. And Allah loves those who are good in their deeds,

جو خرچ کئے جاتے ہیں خوشی میں اور تکلیف میں اور دبا لیتےہیں غصہ اور معاف کرتے ہیں لوگوں کو اور اللہ چاہتا ہے نیکی کرنے والوں کو 3:134

3:134 Those who spend (of that which Allah hath given them) in ease and in adversity, those who control their wrath and are forgiving toward mankind; Allah loveth the good;
